George Cox
Being at the forefront of sub-cultures and footwear innovation, George Cox invented the brothel creeper which was made famous by the Teddy Boy in the 50s. Malcolm McLaren and Vivienne Westwood sold their shoes from their store Let It Rock. Joe Strummer from the Clash and John Lydon from the Sex Pistols never took them off. Bring it forward a number of years and the brand work with Comme des Garçons, Lewis Leathers, Mastermind, Fred Perry and Human Made to name a few. Still staying true to their past, George Cox launched a new foundation collection and wanted to have a refresh, a relaunch and a new identity. They wanted to get some recognition for what they have achieved as they have always led the way when others have followed.
