The Art of Purgatory
Purgatory was born from cheap American pulp, shocking newspaper headlines, XXX film posters, dismembered childhood memories, familiar animated companions, fragments of popular culture and those adverts from the back of magazines all mangled together, spat out and stitched together like some kind of Frankenstein monster.
Purgatory takes you on a rollercoaster ride of emotions, while at the same time giving you that warm nostalgic feeling and a fully loaded short, sharp slap around the chops.
Purgatory breaks down rules of traditional illustration, typography and graphic design leaving you to question why?
